It is more important than ever to show respect for professional truck drivers, who have always played a critical role in our economy. During the COVID-19 pandemic, professional truck drivers stepped up to the plate. They have helped keep the economy moving, despite facing unprecedented obstacles.

Every day, 3.6 million professional truck drivers get behind the wheel and head out onto our highways to deliver the clothes we wear, medical supplies, our food, gasoline, and countless other items that keep our society moving forward.

Please take a moment during National Truck Driver Appreciation Week to say thank you and recognize the truck drivers in your community.

Truck driving is a tough job. Drivers don’t always get to go home at the end of the day, with many of them living in their trucks until the job is done. National Truck Driver Appreciation Week gives us the opportunity to show our gratitude for all that these drivers do!
