In 2019, PGT implemented AI-powered dash cameras in our company trucks, which revolutionized our safety program. Today, every PGT unit is equipped with a dash camera. The camera system can accurately analyze speed, following distance, harsh braking, distracted driving and more, providing real-time updates to immediately correct unsafe behavior. By using this data-driven approach, PGT coaches our drivers to adopt safer driving habits, improving the overall safety scores of our fleet. Drivers also have the ability to track their progress through their driver score app, which is a positive reinforcement platform to show drivers their daily habits and where they compare among their peers.
